Set air pressure for the average of your hunting weather encountered ie 28 inhg
Altitude is irrelevant as an inputted value compared to actual/absolute air pressure.

Yep, either average your air pressure for your usual hunting areas, a different label for specific conditions or have MOA printed on the label also so that you can input data into a ballistics programme and dial accordingly.
How about some tapered turrets???? No problem, once I sorted the maths.

Awesome work, can't wait to play with them
The straight set will go on the smallbore rifle and these on the fullbore.
Spot on Matt. Ive spend time sorting what air pressure i should out for my own label. Ive also added MOA to it so i can run from a ballistics app if i need to at some stage

BDC plus cheat-sheet eliminates the need for ballistic apps in changing conditions.
Just pre-calculate the DEVIATION from your BDC.
Then you can look at the weather and say "ok, today I dial range + 2 clicks..." and you'll be spot on and much faster than a ballistic program
Here's how to setup your BDC to work inside your weather range.

I made one with the right size socket that fitted over my turret and label maker sticker
worked for the time i needed it to
Nice! It was a real bastard working this out for my HD5:

Mmmmm pie... Coulnt resist
I'm guessing that the different layers of the ranges are for different turret revolutions. Do you find you ever forget to turn the turret back and forget what revolution you are on?
Those Burris C4s are awesome scopes, way better than they should be for the price.
OK, I'm not going to add tapered turrent to my app...uplandstalker wins!
