    110g barnes

Nice mate, I used 130 Barnes and they were an overkill on the couple of japs I tipped over last year, didn’t drop them but knocked them over.
I’m unsure as I’ve only ever used ar2208.
Even though you want the Barnes to be travelling fast, bush distances require a lot less and a reduced load will be plenty enough and recoil would be reduced also. To be honest a small suppressor does this job for me as Ive always found noise to be the biggest distraction to a younger hunter.

As above I have only used the 130gr, you do want them going fast as they dont fragment and transfer shock like a cup and core does.
Shot many reds and a few red/wap cross escapee blood and never recovered a single bullet so the 110 should be plenty for Sika.

Am running a dpt suppressor on the A7,so speed is the key to the Barnes?have read that the duleys use 130g ttsx to good effect in their bush pig rifle.figure the 110 will be better recoil wise tho.

Yes speed is good for the barnes and most monolithic projectiles.....at bush ranges you are in the butter zone.
110gr doing over 3k will do the bizz and be light recoil especially if suppressed as well.
