    135 Classic Hunter Jump

When I find the time I would like to have a play with the 135 classic hunters in my 260. I have measured the freebore with them today and I can seat them as close or as far off the lands as I like without having magazine or neck issues etc. I know they are a projectile renowned for not being fussy and just working, but, when the world is your oyster, what is the general consensus on how much jump you're running them at?

    Thanks all

I haven't actually used the 6.5 classic hunter but I found the 130 VLD AND 156 EOL best close I had accuracy issues at the start using my old cowboy blackened projectile method and getting a false mark I though was the lands and backing back 20thou. the person I bought the rifle off informed me the loaded 147 elms he gave me were 20thou off so I went and got some comparators and found I was way back at 150thou bumped up to 20 and they shot lights out

Always thought that 10 - 15 thou off the lands was a safe bet, generally
Had trouble getting this new thing of mine to group like it should, so loaded up some 130 Gr ELD M's and seated them 35thou off the lands - made a huge difference
Gonna try 40 and 45 thou to see whether things continue to improve, or head the other way
