    143gr ELDX on game

As mentioned in another thread, im building a 6.5 creedmoor as an all round gun.

Hardy have a reamer that allows .120 freebore specifically for the 143gr eld x precision hunter ammo and from all accounts it shoots bloody well

However, i do not have any word on what the round is like on game. Wondering if i stick with a standard bore to allow for different weighted projectiles or specifically use the 143gr.

Round is expected to be going 2675fps. shots on game 1m-300m

    any reports would be great.

I am no one to talk (never used on game) but have been told they appear even tougher on game that their 140 counterpart so I'd say they'd be great. The 140's are good at 260 and 6.5x55 velocities as far as I have seen.
As a side note 2650 is slow, will it be considerably shortened? I am considering the creedmore but shortened is why I ask.

it is boxed at 2700fps out of a 24". im going to 22 with a suppressor. Hardy state it will run around 2665fps (just double checked the email) with a 22" and 2610 with a 20"

I've used the same pill in my .260AI and now a 6.5 Creedmoor haven't used the factory round but mine will do 2900fps with a 22" barrel and the 143grn ELDX hand loads.
    143grn are great on game.

Only shot 1 animal so far, spiker and they performed well. Even after hitting a fair bit of bone, I still found the projectile jacket & base. BRADS has used them a lot and can confirm they work well on red deer.

Is the 290fps from the creedmoor or the 260AI?

Getting near max but could go another 1 grain for some reason the creedmoor will take the same powder weight as the .260AI
