Running 2209 in a 24" DPMS, getting 1-1.5 MOA at around 2650 and wanting a lot better. Anybody used a different powder or have any thoughts?
I have also tried 130vld with similar results.

i assume its an AR, that might be the problem
check the twist rate

I'd start with running a ladder test with different powder loads to try and find the barrels accuracy nodes, before venturing out to other powders for a quick fix.
When you have sorted out the best powder load, start adjusting the projectile seating depth. Being in an AR, be sure to apply a crimp to ensure the projectile does not move in the case when being loaded from the mag.
Superformance seems to be a good powder by recent reports on here.
Thanks guys, I have done a bit of research on twist and it should stabilize them fine, although it's only 1-8.5. Yeah I'm leaning towards superformance. I have done quite a few loads with 2209 at different charge weights from 41 right up to 44.5 with nothing that has stood out as a node. As far as being an AR and that being the problem, I have 2 other large frame AR's that both shoot sub 3/4 MOA and one I recently sold was a 1/4 MOA gun, so the platform isn't the problem. I have just played with seating depth on 40 odd rnds and will try that soon.
I am using Hodgon V100 in my 6.5 Creedmoor. (Ruger PR)
140gn ELD getting just under 2900fps
140gn HPBT getting the same speed.
Both shoot just over 1MOA at 200 meters when I do my part.
Hodgon Superproformance powder works in mine with 22" barrel gets me 2900fps with the 143ELD-X
I'm about to do another ladder test as I've had to change my seating depth cause of mag length.
Mine is on a rem short action but I would have liked it on a tikka to make use of the long mag.
I'll let you know how it goes hope to go back to the range today.

I increased the free bore on my 260Imp to allow the use of the T3 long mag & bolt stop. I chose the 143 ELD-X as my main bullet and set it on the base of the bullet level with base of neck. I did before & after test loads and effectively all I achieved was a better looking loaded round with that sleek 143 poking out of it. I had to add 0.5gr powder more to that case to achieve the same velocity I had before long throating. Moral of the story is, more powder space is just more powder usage in this application.
@25/08IMP gas gun or bolt action?
Are you limited by your mag length to seat out closer to the lands?
I seat mine our way further than book load data, use 2209. Very accurate but much lower velocities than guys above.
