    16" 7mm08 loads

Someone was after a load for a bushpig 7mm08?

Starting from 36.0 of 2208 working up 0.5gr to 40.0

My model 7 with 160gr TMK seated to mag length did this. Flat primers but easy bolt lift and no other pressure signs(2.780"COAL). 2430FPSName: 20201020_175451.jpg

    Nice!

A short barrel 708 can be a handy and useful little gun.

I took my 15 inch barreled model 7 7mm08 away on a fallow hunt a couple of weekends ago.

Had no problem neck shooting a yearling at 265 yards.

    140gr NBT at 2700 fps.

I reckon that was me, I have made up a batch with the 162gr A-max, I expect similar velocity, As for accuracy, every rifle will play a different game, will see how mine plays the pipes,

    Hi @William

    Yes I think it was.

From memory RL15 or RL16 may give you more velocity.

If you need either one I have a mate who lives you're way whose visiting.

Will be back up in town on monday.

Could drop powder off? If you need it

Cheers mate but I'm trying to use up some of my ADI powders that I have stored up, I ended up loading with ADI2208, loaded up around 30rnd and will see what they want to do. I don't foresee shooting at any long ranges while hunting on horse back, I can close in to a respectable distance that way. So long they go bang and hit where I pointed them, I'm a happy man.
