    160 gn .284 Nosler BTS

I’m a fan of the Nosler AB as a game bullet but they a bit dear for lots of use on paper.
Do I load same weight BTs in .270 and .308 cals using the same loading. Nearly always shoot to almost the same POA.

Just got a few boxes of the new 160 7mm BT pills. Anyone here using them in there 7 REM Mags on game as yet. How are you finding them. Harder or after than other cup and core plastic tipped pills, eldx etc?

BC claim is .531. Same as for the similar weight AB.

Have used the 150 BT in my 7mmSaum, had one explode on the shoulder of a fallow doe at 150yards at approx 2800fps. Still killed it with the shock and fragments getting some important bits.

Only used the 150gr in the 284, yes they go off like hand grenades when they impact something hard like shoulder bones. But when placed in the engine room most of it turns to jelly.

Yeah certainly not for big rutted up stags in the bush. I'm assuming the 160gr would be similar.
