    168 Amax 2206H

I’m loading for an old rifle of mine and in my notes it looks like 43.6 of 2206h and fed 210s it rings a bell but not for certain and my notes on this particular rifle have a big smudge on them . Is anyone loading similar it was very accurate in this rifle just wanting to double check that doesn’t sound to hot don’t want to do a ladder if I don’t have to it looks like a 3 it was definitely 4 something .6

    If 308
Hornady 10th gives 43.3 of H4895 which is ADI 2206H as max load. Same for IMR 4895.

I loaded 43.5r 2206h behind the 168 ELD-M in a .308 I had. So looks like you’re in the ballpark. It was a max load in my gun with Federal brass which was a bit soft.

Good load, 168 ELD-M with 43 grains 2206h cci primers and Hornady brass in my Howa 308.

I think that's one of Nathan Foster's pet loads for 308 43 grains at 2.75" coal.

Now that's sorted gor Kelton does anyone know which bullets the Hornady 168gn Z-Max are?
I'm using some with a similar load for club events. I saw one break up on a pig shoulder at close range but I have a heap of these Z-Max 168gn 500ish

The 168 z max is the same as the a-max with a different coloured tip.

Yes, making them cheap or affordable.
They will be OK for club shooting, better than no shooting.

I'm not a fan of the Zombie Marketing stuff but I did buy them in .22 and .30.
