Thread: >20 Practical Bushing Size

I'm in the process of building a .20 practical upper. Can those who already shoot this round advise what bushing size to use for
forming using a Redding F/L S type sizing die? I'm using mainly ADI and Starline brass.

I've read various options suggesting .226 or .228 but would like some real world info.

Looking to not neck turn with 32gr or 40 gr v-max pills.

I have some 20 Tactical cases formed from Lapua 223 brass. Loaded with 40gr vmax they measure 0.231". The 1 FC case I have with a projectile in it is 0.229". I don't have the barrel chambered yet to know how fired and sized brass is going to measure up

I'd also suggest firming in a std FL die rather than bushing die if you can, results in a better/more complete sizing of the neck/shoulder junction.
