Thread: .22-243 with CFE223

Hey team,

I'm looking to try CFE223 in my .22-243 with 24" 1:8 barrel.
Running 75g Scirocco's.

Would any of you with that fancy load data program (can't remember name) be good enough to give me a starting point, have been thinking to start around 35-37g.

Well indeed that is an option

got book data for 22-250 and the swift and normal 243 but not what your after sorry.

I think he is hoping somebody with Quickload could get him started.

I have it, and it looks like you are pretty much bang on the money starting @ ~36 gr. with CFE223.

jbm ballistics have many calculators that work for me.

I'd be wanting to get the best guess first up as the barrel will be gone if you have to try many other combos
