Yea I did with trail boss, and 45gr hornet projectile, don't remember speeds, but guessing around 2500ish, sure I seen load data for 22-250 on hodgdon site,
also built a few loads with SR4759, and 50gr/or 55gr, think that info came from a speer manual, will have a look,
speer #14 manual, reduced loads, 45gr, SP, SR4759, 9.5g-11.5g, 1650-1980 fps.
50gr sp, SR4759, 10-12gr, 1650-1980 fps,
55gr sp & tnt HP, 11-13gr 1688-2000fps,
layman load data booklet, varmint cals,
45gr spt, SR4759, 15-19.5 2450-3060
55gr v-max, SR4759 16-20gr 2470-2930.
or just pick a slow powder, for the 22-250 ie, varget, or H4895, and load bottom end loads, at 3100 or so, you will burn, 5-10gr more powder than a .223, unless you use trail boss or similar in a reduced load.
Have fun,
I had soft loads, for near the farm house, when shooting gophers, in Canada, but the .17 hornet was much better and cheaper to run, although the 22-250, was a much better choice for coyotes.
