@Happy Jack , In the end with a 1-14 twist the 55g sierra were the best so iv stuck with them , shot a good number of reds using them the furthest shot 268y with good results, using a charge of 39g W760 ,Remington large rifle primers , I have never chronographed the load .

anyone tried the 50grn ttsx in a 1;12 twist 22-250????

No I haven't, currently using a mix of Federal, Sako and Remington since everyone is running low on stock around here.

Have my boys reloading gear now as his rifles are now kept here too, just need him toy show up and teach me how to use it all.

Although I had my Savage shortened slightly and a suppressor fitted. So lots of testing required once we get some loads organised.
