    22 Hornet Rainy Night

Nothing like a rainy night in Georgia to get the 22 Hornet production line cranking.
    Another 42 locked and loaded.
170 prepared and lubed ready for powder and projectiles tomorrow (might be fine, I which case they can wait until the next front on Saturday...)
Sierra 40grn SP HORNET #1200 these are giving very good terminal results.

Now would be a good time to ask how much is the 2205 improve over the 2207? And don't tell me ya haven't got a chrono.

Good morning @SmokeyJason yeah, nah, I don't have a chronograph! I did try to get hold off the Forum NI crony but it seems to have dropped off the radar....
I can tell you, from feel, that they are going faster! Accuracy is good and terminal results are excellent.
But I haven't shot any cardboard to compare groups and have used about ten different projectiles projectiles, so terminal results could be as much around projectile type as powder charge.
The projectiles which I like best are the Sierra 40grn #1200 and 45grn #1210. Both are named HORNET and have round noses. The other is the Hornady 45grn #2230 also design for HORNET.
I'm not using or trialing VMax or Ballistic Tip, preferring to stick with traditional soft points, lead Tip, round nose.
It ain't raining today, but I'm onto pouring concrete steps today, not Guns and Roses!
