Thread: .22, how heavy for my twist

I have a 22-243win with a factory 1-14 twist, I have to make up a new load because my old load for the old gun is piss weak in this new one.

I have always used the 55g Ballistic tip at a mild 3700fps, and its nailed everything up to a few spikers.



Do I stick with them or load something like the 69g targex with a hefty load of powder to push them into stable flight.
