Hi theres currently a major shortage of 2209 in Australia and I'm getting low. Is anybody running 2213sc in their 6.5x55 with 120 and 140 gr bullets?

A quick and dirty calculation suggests it could work
What is predicted velocity with 22inch barrel?
Rifle is a Titan 6. current load 140 eldm with 45.5 2209 wlrm primer 2870fps
ah yeah, thats showing a 16.5" with 22" about 2750 (this will change depending on what 140gr you use.)
I did a comparison of 2209 and 2213sc with 129gr bullets. It may be of interest to you:

I've never used it , only 2209 and N560 however have a mate who uses it with the 129gr Hornady. shoots very well.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
I use 2213sc in an F class rifle 30" barrel with Lapua 139 match bullets velocity was 2927fps in my Sako 75 velocity 2560fps with 46.6 grains
with much better accuracy than 2209 it is not maximin it my rifles but work up to it as usual, I loaded higher to 2970fps but the accuracy dropped off.
Loaded 47 Gr 2213 with a 143 gr ELD X in my mates Tikka T3
Chronyed at 2650 Av FPS.
My load is 49 grains of 2213 SC with 143 gr ELD X in a 20 inch Tikka, chrono at 2750 fps while doing load development but recently chrono at just over 2600 fps. I checked the drop chart and it said at 2700 fps that would drop 21 inches at 400 yds so I tried it and actual drop was 22 inches. This load has shot a one hole 3 shot group, mostly .5 to an inch depending on my shooting. This load is about max in my rifle treat with caution.
Just rechecked the drop chart and the drop was projected at 21 . 9 inches, not 21 inches, so the actual drop of 22 inches sort of validates that load at 2700 fps and a 200 yards zero.

I did some seating depth testing with 2213sc and 129gr projectiles. It looks like you will need to adjust it between 2209 and 2213sc. Initially it looks like 2213sc noticeably more accurate. I hope to do a direct comparison in a week or so.
