    2217 in .270?

Anyone used 2217 in the 270 with success?
I'm exploring other powder options for 140-150gr projectiles as the usual 2213sc/4831 powders are unavailable.

    Cheers

Absolutely do it. Win win win. Compared to 2209/2213:
More velocity, particularly with heavier pills.
    Improved accuracy.
    Reduced recoil.

This across a number of 270's I've loaded for.

That's what I like to hear, will try and get a mate to grab some for me.

I was thinking of trying this combo for my mates tikka 270. Isn't it a super compressed load? I poured in 63g into a empty case to see what it looked like and there wasn't much room left! Whats the COAL? Thanks

Are you compressing these loads? I always seemed to run into case capacity issues with it

A good bugger on here has sorted me out with some 2213sc and 2217. Will post up the 2217 results when I get around to loading and chronographing them.
