    Have you had a look at the Hodgdon and ADI data online?

    19 Gr 2207 with 50 gr soft point - around 3150 fps

    I don't have a 222, but if I did and I wasn't getting the speed I wanted with one powder, I'd take a look to see if there were others that delivered more.

    I have had a "bad" batch of 2207 that generated crazy speeds (and the pressure to go with). Maybe you're seeing something similar.
