Greetings @Tahr,
I don't have any actual experience with Barnes projectiles as they are beyond my cheap skate price. Comparing their book data for the 150 grain in the .308 they seem to get the same velocity with 1.5 grains less powder than I have chronographed with AR2206H in a 24" barrel.

I suppose it doesn't matter much really so long as you begin conservatively.

I also found that the Nosler 129 grain LRAB gave almost 100 fps more velocity than the Hornady 129 grain soft point in the 6.5-06 with everything else the same so the heavy jacketed projectiles seem to push up velocity and pressure as well as the mono's. I relly should try some I suppose.
