    a minute for the string,then a standup/muffs off sort of thing...the barrel was just starting to warm up

    If it was me and I had a normal hunting contour barrel I would run it again with a fair bit of time between strings unless your last groups are close to max.

    Or better yet shoot your last load first up and cold.

    Save some of those 24.6gr loads for me to try out.

    We've not had much trouble cleaning up the goats in the past, but from now on I'm expecting only head shots from our mate, ...... No excuses
