    hey Tim
i had an experience loading barnes bullets for my 308 havent tested them yet either

using the same weight pills 168 gr that using the same powder weight say 42grs of 2206h that the barnes pressed down onto the powder in the case ,now i know this is because the barnes are longer projectiles , not sure if i can seat them out further (just havent checked my max oal for my mag yet) or i may need to use less powder
wonder if is the same sort of question you are asking?

The Hornady Load for Vmax 53Gr projectiles is Min Load : xx.x grains .... max Load : xx.x + y grains (cant rem the exact numbers)

can I just use that load, substituting the 53 gr VMax's for the 53gr Barnes TSX ?? Is that safe ?

Im pretty sure the fit will be OK
