I need to put thru my chronograph again but I think I was doing 2600ft/s on the 65gr game king with CFE223 and somewhere on the 2840? With the BM2.Quote:

I was getting 2600 fps out of a 16" with 24gr 2206H I think it was. 65gr sierra. Can crank it higher.
I was getting 2873fps with 25.2gn of 2206H, RP brass with the 65gn Gamekings in my 16" AR.
My .223 AR seems to have a tight chamber and short throat, so I get pressure signs before I even get to ADI recommended max charge.
In the .223 Sako I'm getting 2881fps with 24.9gn of 2206H, RP brass with the 65gn Gamekings. The bolt action seems to like lighter loads.
