Thread: 223 at the range today

I headed to the range today to try 3 different loads, 1st up were the 73gr ELDM's.
I knew I pulled the first shot high and to the right and gave myself a stern talking to at the time because I had only loaded 3 so result was 1.1 inch.



2nd up were the 64gr game changes which shot under half inch.



And last were the 77gr TMK's which shot at .6 of an inch



All n all not too bad

Very successful I would say.

2 Nice triangular groups would suggest a bit of fiddling with seating depth and you might tighten them up even more

Cheers mate, yeah its looking promising and at least I know I can go out and hunt with them in the mean time.

Around 1/2 inch is pretty good , no fiddling required, just need to use a few on live stuff. Nice shooting.

Going out next week so hope to bowl over something with them, I would like to give the 77gr TMK's a go on deer but also have the 64gr game changers and the 62gr hornady SP's shooting at just under half inch so I have 3 good options.
The 73gr ELDM's maybe slightly longer than mag length so I prefer the other 3 options as they will all fit in the standard mag.
