    BDC scope mounted 2 inches above bore and zeroed at 50 yards is point and shoot to 200 yds and by happy coincidence 250 aligns with the first drop mark.
    It may not be target accuracy but it's plenty adequate for hunting. We really do tend to overthink things at times and are dissatisfied with anything less than pinpoint accuracy. Going back and shooting open sights or a red dot rapidly resets the what's adequate and what's not meter.
