    .224 65gr Gameking

Who uses this bullet? How does it go on goats and deer? Thinking about giving it a whirl in the AR's

I use them, but rate the 55gn HPBT Gamekings as better knockdown.

Yep, like bully I find the 65s punch right through at times.
55s with that huge hollow point are like hammer of the gods, you are right about the BC, but keep it within 200m and don't worry.

Have the right twist but A max turns an AR into a single shot. If I was using a bolt gun I would run them for sure

I was shooting some through my NEA today they don't group that flash and was running 25grains of ar2206h haven't tried those on game yet. Found the NEA went better with flat based so have purchased some 60g v max #22281 to try out. The NEA liked the hornady 60g soft point flat base.

I use this projectile on my Tikka and it does well. I drop goats and 3 deer, a fallow and 2 red hinds, one spine shot and the other two in the neck, goats they go great wherever they hit it. In the paper it is great, group 3/4" on a bad day and 1/2" or less in a good day.

I use the 65g and love them, group very well and have had no issues with knock down on goats and deer, .223 has become my go to bush rifle for that reason

I've used them one goats out of my .223 bolt gun loaded hot it smashes them. Only shot one deer with them out of an AR was a 10m head shot so not very representative
