    .224 77gr Sierra Tipped Matchking

    Anyone tried these on deer? Looking for something a little heavier to run out of a howa mini in 223 and wondering how they compare to 70-80gr hornady ELD-Ms?

    77 TMK in and out on a fallow hind.
    They would work well on reds.

    If they are too spendy the 80ELDM and 80 Targex do the same thing for $30/100 less.

    Thanks for the replies, will give them a go, hopefully they shoot well out of the howa mini.

    Seems like shooting deer with a 223 is a pretty hot topic.
