Thread: 225gr eld match

I was using Norma brass and Federal 215m primers. Running 79-80 grains of 2217 which is over max. Got 2800fps over a lab radar. Just showing some light pressure signs. That was in a remington with a 26in Krieger barrel.
I sold that rifle and I'm currently running a 24inch sako 300 mag with the 208 ELDM's and getting 2925fps from 79.4 grains of 2217. Once again couple grains over book max but about 0.5 grains below pressure signs.
