    Got a box of the hornady softpoint 87gr projectiles that are now listed as varmint but were meant to be one of the good projectiles for the 243 back in the day. Number 2240? Not a boat tail though.

    87 Sp no: 2440 listed as varmint and medium game in vol 4 Hornady manual, Is a flat base spitzer.
