Got one to try myself but needs a couple of things doing to it

Greetings @SeftonB,
Cyril Waterworth had some data in his book. Most of the powders you can't get anymore but the loads were similar to the .250-3000 Savage. With wildcats you never know exactly what you have and it would be wise to compare the case capacity with the Savage. You need to do this with a case fired from your rifle. If the capacity is the same or more than the Savage then a start load from the latter data could be chronographed to establish a base line to work from. ADI has some data.
Regards Grandpamac.
I've always wanted to have a 25-303. Just because anything 303 has to be fun! ;) My mate in Oz reckons there's still plenty over there
@csmiffy I have 303-25 dies but no 303-25 rifle
I brought them to help form 303-22 Brass for a rifle that was offered to me
The offer is hanging out there but the vendors expectations are unrealistic
Massive case, slow twist barrel. Means ultra fast speeds and ####ed bore
Simplex do dies not too pricey
Data for the 303/.25 is sorted by action type. Rear locker/SMLE and P14 / front locker.
Velocities for front lockers is similar to .25 savage. 87 at 3000 fps, 100s at 2800-2950 fps.
Powders in the 2206h, W748 to 2208, 2209, W760 burn rate range.
Rifles are about over here but demand is low. I’d rather a .25 sav on a kurz Mauser than a 303/.25 on a SMLE if I was going to get all nostalgic.

A "Kurz" Mauser is a short action (only produced as sporting rifles by the Oberndorf factory), originally chambered in 250 Savage etc
Ian at Hardy barrels says they'll have 1:7 twist 257 cal barrels going within a few months . . . . Hmmmm
@Tentman I guess the fangled modern Stainless Steel only ?
Is yours a chrome moly?
I have had an itch to build a 25 souper have the dies but never got round to it . This new 25 creedmoore does seem to be just a modern version of an older wildcat souper . Might be an easier way to scratch an itch though.
I have a 25 Souper built on a 24-inch barrel Tikka M55, normally shooting 100gn (87gn for long range wallabies). It replaced a 25-06 which wasn't much faster for more powder burnt.
I'm encouraged by all the .25 enthusiasm.
Last time we had a flurry of new cartridges, especially ones beginning with C, the entire shooting community had collective apoplexy. Hornady was just a marketing stunt factory and nothing was ever, ever going to be as good as the 6.5x55 Swede... EVER.
(And a lot of shooters were suddenly regarded as homosexual hipsters, which was a bit of a stretch but oh well.)
Hahaha, maybe Im "trans" - I've got a 25GT dummy case to hand and have checked it for feeding etc, however it's looking like it'll be too long for the action to be optimal. I'm also thinking that we are likely to have a fairly narrow range of the "new" high BC bullets actually make it here.
So I ordered 6mm GT dies as a place holder and to see how brass forming goes (my rifle won't be getting fed $3 a pop brass to lose out on the hill).
Greetings,
Thinking about the .25 Creedmoor, should it become a factory round I wonder if the shoulder will need to be moved back to stop a 6.5 round chambering as happened with the .280 Rem and 7mm WSM. These had the shoulder moved forward to stop them chambering in the .270's.
