Ive got a 223 WSSM an love it, don't load maxi loads and im getting at least 5 reloads out of cases, its a perfect round for Wallabies, long range rabbits, and ive even taken a few good sized pigs with it. Not heard of many people splitting cases, perhaps his brass was not good quality?
Apparently win wssm brass has really thick necks and ideally has to be annealed frequently. I like the idea of a 6.5 wssm but it would be a hassle to run -case is only 1.67 inches long creedmore is 1.92 case capacities are pretty much the same and significantly more than 6.5x47. Short and fat is where it's at
