    I think I remember reading Ackley played with the 30° shoulder but don't know if it should be classed as an Ackley or improved. Either way I like cartridges like that.

    Fred Huntington of RCBS fame was a 28deg man, he believed that was the right recipe. Look at most of your proven target rounds like the BR, CM, Lapua and the likes, they are all 30deg. PO Ackley was regarded as a radical man of the sport with his improvements

    I have special tipped bullets that wont work in yours coz its stupid and 40 is bigger than 30 so there.
