About LinkBacksYes but no its still a fat and wide case, unlike your 30-06 so a little different.. but in broad terms it is a reduced pressure load in a larger capacity case. H1000 is a slower powder, its ignition pattern is more progressive that is apparently part of the equation as well.
Pressure and heat are apparently what burns out barrels, that and high fire rates. Getting velocity without excess pressure and heat is differcult to achieve in small cases.
