Shit paper works a treat, just don't do it at the front door.

If your doing a heap and worried about powder spilling out when travelling etc, seal the necks with soap. Less messy I imagine, than butter. If it melts it possibly could soak the powder.
I don't use anything. But I am minutes from a range or where I can pop them off.

Instead of soap, you can melt some candles in a pot and had some olive oil to it. Raise the temp till it become pretty hot and then let it cool down. The texture of the candle wax become less brittle and more " buttery " . You can also use the red wax of baby bell cheese, but they are to expensive here compared to Europe .

What powder & load are you using?
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
I used AS30-N which seemed to work well

Yes but your forming a much larger case.
Shotgun powder fills a.260 case with a patch.
I don't seal the case mouth at all.
Used soap when I first started but found there was no need.
Reckon you could be right ref that wee mishap he had.

Yea when I have fire formed in the past (25/08 AI ) I did just that used my pre AI load and just shot it but I used to live on a farm then and did a lot more shooting, so this time I used the no bullet method as I could do it in the garage in town and now I'm ready for the range and load testing.
