If your doing a heap and worried about powder spilling out when travelling etc, seal the necks with soap. Less messy I imagine, than butter. If it melts it possibly could soak the powder.
I don't use anything. But I am minutes from a range or where I can pop them off.

It may have been something in the soap that set off the cases Abe had in his hand. The 4x2 patch should give some separation but Id stay away from it personally. I use butter to hold in rolled oats for filling so I dont have take the muzzle break off.
