    .260AI

Been doing a bit of testing this is with 760 and 130 grn Nosler AB tried 2209 but was maxed out at 2780fps and N160 got to 2800.
760 can go higher but now need to try other pills to see what shoots best need to get some Berger 130 VLD to give a go.

Be keen to hear how you go with the 760 & 130 VLDs. Are you running magnum primers?

Only standard primers with 22" barrel Yea was hoping for more speed but running into high pressure.
Barrel is a Hardy carbon wrapped.

760 is a very dense ball powder, usually recommended to run a magnum primer to ensure efficient ignition, though your velocity spread is very minimal so your standard primer seems to be doing the job.

Never tried 760 in mine but have always used magnum primers.
Recently changed to CCI and have managed to get good ES.
Superperformance or RL17 might be good behind 130s.
I have never worked with a 22" barrel in the Ackley so not sure what you should expect. But would think 2980ish should be achievable with good case life.

Love the swift as a high BC hunting bullet but not as accurate in my .260 as I would like. They went great in my 6.5-06.
Be interested as to how they shoot for you.

The cheap old hornady 129 interlock may be worth a look. They shoot really well in my rifle. They seem to kill well at all ranges I have used them.

Those standard cup & core interlocks are a great go to failsafe bullet, used to use them in my 257 Ackley. The VLDs are apparently giving good velocity and performance, they seem to have a small bearing surface which theoretically could give higher fps for less pressure? What are your thoughts there?
