IMR 4350. close to AR2209, was the go to powder for the .270 before the surplus 4831 appeared and IMR4064, close to AR2208, before that. O'Connor often used IMR4064 long after the other two appeared due to its accuracy in the .270.

I had heard that about IMR4064 being a somewhere near the 2208 . Ironic i have 2208 and 2209 just when i need to have this discussion . thanks for the history lesson
