Thread: 270 150gr SST

from all Ive ever read about them...pretty much similar preformance to normal cup n core jobbie...work fine up close and will open up ok out mid range...just load them up and shoot some stuff....in 34 years of using a .270 I cannot recall ever having projectile fail to kill animal other than when tried a 110grn varmit on small fallow,that still haunts me,bullet blow up on surface isnt pretty... the 150grn norma follow up ended it quickly.
if you really unsure and reluctant to use them..I have unopened box of 150 grn speer grandslams here..... THEY WORK GREAT.....
cant see a fellow .270 user short of ammunition.
