Anyone used these? The seem to be a very good balance of BX and weight for the 270 without getting into the need for a fast twist match barrel.

Yip they shoot well in my tikka with 2209. Average group size is 3/4inch. Have taken a few animals they're pretty violent up close. Haven't shot alot of animals at range with them, the furthest being 330yds but they performed as intended.
I used the 130s. Dual load with 130gr interlocks. Worked great
I would (and do) use the 150s, any 10 twist barrel will stabilise them just fine, 140s are a funny thing in the 270, they dont have the speed of a 130 and dont have the thump of a 150, some might say that puts them in a good spot, somewhere in the middle, but I just use 150s exclusively in 270 now

Shot two more with the 140gr classic hunters on Monday. A mature barren red hind and yearling both shot's at 180-190yds lased, yearling ran maybe 10yds and the Hind dropped straight away, the projectiles really did the biz. Fist and golf ball size exit wounds, internals and bones were mince. Hope that helps and provides a bit more context.
I shot a few deer using the 6.5 135gr ones, they sure are vicious.
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
