    270 ELD-X and Hybrid 100v

    Hi guys

    Anyone willing to share the max load (if listed) in the Hornady manual for 145gr ELD-X with Hybrid 100v? Hodgdon don't list a 145gr. Splitting the difference between 140gr and 150gr gives me a max of 53gr charge which id think is pretty close... Always nice to consult a few sources though!

    Will be working up to max rather than taking @buzzman "work up from max" approach...

    Thanks in advance

    Definitely work up from conservative loads. I found Hyb100V in 300wSM hit pressure very sharply, went from no pressure signs to swipes and ejector marks together with stiff bolt lift in less than 1 gn. But it works a treat once you find the sweet spot

    You are pretty close, 53.3 grs is the listed max in Hornady's 10 edition manual. According to this it should be doing 2900 fps.

    No loads listed in Hornady book 10th edition for 280 Rem using Hybrid 100V, not to say it doesn't work in it.

    @Mooseman you're a legend!

    I run 52gr of 100V in the 280rem with the 162 ELDX, 2830fps and .75MOA, seems to do the trick...

    Thanks again

    Well quick range report....
    Easiest load development I've ever done. All charges went sub-MOA, only my hottest load started to open up to .8 MOA.

    Be interesting to see what the speed is like.
