    .270 Loads

Now don't judge me but a mate has a .270 and has always shot factory but now he wants me to reload for him, so what are people finding the best projectile?
He is a bush hunter for Sika and reds but also wants a good load for the slips we hunt in the Ruahines 300 to 400 max, likes solid shoulder shots that will break bone.

Yep another, 140gr fan, 140 BT was my go to for years, 140gr Sst are good, another that worked good, was a 110gr soft points,
    now I use a different Cal, 6.5, 7mm or 9.3

if its got speer on the box it will go great in .270
used 130s for years without issues, now trying 150 partitions and so far they are awesome...130grn partitions should suit sika like a glove...130s less recoil than 150s but if using suppressor that's not an issue at all. personally I load a big fat RN when bush stalking...it might not shoot deer any deader or do any better but it make ME feel better if shot is thread the needle type stuff.
    AR2213 is great powder.
and duel loading suits me best...in your case say a 130grn nosler ballistic tip load that groups well for the long stuff and maybe either 130 partition or RN 150 for bush...bases covered.

150gr Hornady Interlock in front of some 2213 would be perfect I reckon

Another vote for 140 ABs in front of AR2213.

I have had very good success for the past 6 years running the 130gr Accubond behind AR2209. Got very good accuracy with the 130gr Gameking behind RL22 also, which a friend uses in his .270 with good results.

+1 on the 130SST works really well on game at 3100 fps with 2209 in a browning xbolt. One bullet that didn't work well was the 135 SMK, it has a good bc but doesn't open up on game.
