evening ,
I am going to use a borrowed rifle for a while .A 270 win sako . SO i am going to build a load for it ...
I have 2209 , 2208 , R19 , 2206H and some N160 .
I got hundred Hornady 130 sst , REM primers, CCI , and fiocci primers as well .
Now the 270 calibre is not really my turf ( more a 7mm-08 sorta guy ) but i got enough gear and a labrader chrono to get into a fair bit of trouble .
So what are people thinking ?
I dont get anything closer than 200 mts and have to shoot out to 400 mts too often as well .
and FYI , I got GRT as well (and i use it ) but im not really wanting to put 150 bucks down range looking for a sweet spot in a calibre / load that i not really familar with . SO , i,d appreciate some help with a good realiable load using what i got. Some place to start .............
thanks
les
Shame about the chosen pill, don't drive it too fast. 3000fps will be plenty. Stay off major bone and heavy muscle inside 200yds.
