I checked it first with 57gn's 4831 pushing along a 130SST, chrony averaged 2848fps. My records show that load was doing 2924fps in another rifle. The same records also tell me that at some point I had a load using Superformance and a 130SGK, and that went 3159fps! Both the 4831 load and the Superformance load were shot about 15 minutes apart, to let the barrel cool down.

My son and I have identical 308 Husky's, his will put 4 different loads in the same 25mm group at 100. We both use the same reloads for hunting, and his is 70fps faster than mine. Same rifle, same barrel length etc.
Shearer and Micky Duck like this.
