Thread: 270 and very light projectiles

not quite 277 but i use 90 gr tnts in my 264

I recall years ago when we lived in Central, I loaded up some 100g Speer (I think they were Speer), to shoot goats and long range rabbits.
They were unbelievably accurate on paper at 100 yds which is the main reason I remember them - like 5 shots more or less in the same hole. This was out of a Sako Finnbear. This was way before suppressors but they worked well on goats, but way to noisey to be much good for rabbits.
No reason why you couldnt shoot everything with them.
