270 win light projs for sqika?

anyone tried 100g or 110g projectiles in 270 win on sika or fallow?Dogmatix

Yes, but preferred the 140g Ballistic Tip so Reds could tumble with the same ammo.

I've got some 110 grn Barnes loaded but they remain unproven as yet.(so many cals. so little time)

I had the 110gn V-maxes, only used them on goats. Very messy. :o

I've stuck with 130 Gamekings now, too many projectiles floating around in the reloading boxes. ;)

How do you find the Game kings Dogmatix? I thought they were pretty "hard" when I used to use them, didn't seem to expand much, penciled straight through a goat at close range

I'll add that 130gr SST's blow great fecking holes in things if that is the effect you're after ants

nah was thinkin bout less damage Beav, but prolly not poss with 270 :),

btw i named my rifle "Beavis"

I like them, nothing fancy though. They are a basic cup design. I went to them as they were cheap and after I had a few SST blow ups on Reds a few years back.
No doubt there are better projectiles around, but I have 300 odd to use up before I try something else.
