The Barnes will be good but need high velocity and reasonable sized animals to expand.

The 130gr sp are a good all-rounder. Bit soft up close but do the job. Not the best BC for shooting long range though.

so ideal senario is duel load the barnes for up close and hornadies for anything else ......SHOULD be able to keep both loads reasonably similar component wise..the barnes will possibly need less powder..or not ...depending on how hot you intend to go....personally would go say 2 grains below what your putting in hornadies now and work up in half grain jumps and see how you feel about results
