They are great. Very easy to get a good load for. Inherently accurate (must be the case design). All the grunt you would ever need. Just personally I would have one before a 7mm rem mag (big bitch of a thing with a silly rim thing on the case). Or the 7mmsaum (they are all home made). Even with the "limitation" of 150 grn max bullet weight. And they aren't obnoxious - easy to shoot.
Surely Hornady will step into this space...270prc...fast twist barrels and high BC bullets...the last big opportunity in convention cartridge design...Id be all over it like a rash.

That’d be the 6.8 western but because Hornady didn’t release it themselves it hasn’t made any real traction plus apparently when asked Hornady said no way to making a .277 match projectile.
