I had one for a few years a Winchester Extreme Weather & took it with me when we toured Australia ,took everything from foxes to Water Buffalo with it & all we have to offer here it was my go to Tahr rifle for a few years.
wow great to hear it is alive and doing well....
ah but you have std 270 now to fill the aching void...hows it going by the way???
It's almost ready.....have been busy and havent touched it till last week.
Fitted a timney trigger, bedded in flush cup for the javelin, and qd flush cups in the side of the stock for qd sling, it's back at the fiberglass repair guy getting the stock touched up, should have it back sometime next week then I have some finishing touches to make before load development, however might be one last trip to the gunsmith before load development resumes

Had an A Bolt 270 WSM in Canada ,I shot a couple of Mule deer bucks with it , and the son shot a few Black Bears. Nice accurate caliber and very effective on game. Son traded it up to a X Bolt in 325 WSM.
