    .277 bullet mold

Hi guys I’m new to the forum.
I want to cast my own bullets for my 270.
Anyone know where where I can find a mold?

what the heck for???? shes a big case to load down slow enough for cast projectiles.... speer bt are soft as so good at slow speeds if you looking for reduced loads for young fella....
I have toyed with idea of buying the 7mm hp ones and just trying it.......7 thou isnt a huge amount at slower speed but have been advised not to try it.

Take a look at www.mp-molds.com. This company makes beautiful molds in any configuration you could want.

Not a good idea the 270 is not really suitable for cast bullet there are few mold s available, the case capacity is way too large the barrel twist is too fast velocity
is limited to 1500-1800fps, No good for subsonic loads the twist limits the bullet weight to 100 grains or less, The lower limit for cast bullets for hunting is realistically
,30 calibre .308 or 30/30 best 30/06 for the more experienced , If you want to get serious with cast bullets get a .358 Winchester.
