At the risk of reinventing the wheel; has anyone had recent experience with 284 win Bertram brass? I’m looking at converting my finnlight 270 to 284 and have sourced some Bertram 284 brass. I believe others have seen discrepancies with other Bertram brass and wanted to hear thoughts on Bertram 284 win and whether I should wait until lapua (or similar) 284 brass is more readily available.
Purpose is hunting ~150gr loads
For hunting itl be fine. I use it in my hunting 7 saum and have it dialed id good enough for distances past where i will be shooting deer. For consistency however, i rate it pretty low. I bought ADG when i could find some to use in my 7saum competition barrel. Worlds better and sweet FA more fun tokens at the checkout for 100 bits
