Thread: 30-06 168gr Amax

Shot a a fair few goats and deer with the 168, out of a 308 tho MV 2750fps.
I found penetration can be an issue less than 200y
I am now running the 178 out of the 3006is ballistic brother at just shy of 3000fps and it is like a compleatly different bullet, still very messy up close but so far every close shot has dropped em on the spot and exited impressively even having shot two reds lung shot with the same shot.
Both are very messy up close and work well further out.
