    Hi
I recently purchased an experienced Parker Hale 30 06 and I am using Hornady 150 SSTs and 60 grains of 2209. It is shooting good sub MOA groups with no pressure issues and they are doing 2850 over the chrony. I put a limbsaver on the butt and had to install a low swing safety to allow for a scope to be mounted and is a joy to use. I will shorten the barrel and put a sonic reduction barrel weight on it (soon) which should also help with the accuracy and comfort. Nathan Foster rates the Hornady 150 SST as an excellent dispatcher of game and I have to agree with him, they work and are very affordable. I will be taking it for a walk tomorrow and hope to blood it. I am also keen to try projectiles in the 165-8 range as they seem to be the optimum for BC and efficiency.
    Cheers
